Healthcare that actually listens
More time for
what matters to you.
At Pique Medical, we take time to understand your symptoms, medical history, and goals. Your plan may bring together routine primary care, preventive screenings, hormone support, and metabolic health.
Direct primary care means you pay the practice directly for your visits or membership. It can be a practical option for people with high deductibles, rural access barriers, or anyone who wants a more personal relationship with their provider.
Our goal is simple: thoughtful medical care and clear next steps that fit your life.

How does insurance fit?
Office visits are self-pay. You may use insurance for eligible labs, imaging, or prescriptions, subject to your plan and the outside provider.
Is membership required?
No. Visit-based care is available. Membership is not insurance and does not replace coverage for hospital care or other outside services.
Local connection. Flexible access.
Thoughtful care.
Fewer miles in the way.
Getting care shouldn’t always mean a long drive. Telehealth can make follow-ups, symptom discussions, and ongoing care more convenient for patients in rural communities.
When an in-person exam, testing, or specialty care is needed, we’ll help you understand the next steps. Labs and imaging are completed through outside facilities.

A few things you may be wondering
Your questions, answered.
Is direct primary care insurance?
No. Direct primary care is a payment arrangement with the practice for specified care. Core Care membership is not insurance and does not cover hospital care, emergency care, specialists, or other outside services.
Do I have to join a membership?
No. Start with a new patient visit for $199. You can continue with follow-up visits for $125 or discuss whether the optional $149/month Core Care membership fits your needs.
What should I book if I have several concerns?
Choose a new patient visit. You do not need to select a different initial appointment for each concern. We’ll review your priorities together and plan appropriate next steps.
Can I use insurance for labs, imaging, or prescriptions?
Office visits are self-pay. You may be able to use insurance for eligible labs, imaging, or prescriptions through participating outside providers. Coverage and out-of-pocket costs depend on your plan.
Do you order preventive screenings?
Yes, when appropriate for your age, medical history, and risk factors. Screenings and imaging are completed through outside facilities and billed separately.
Do you offer telehealth for rural patients?
Yes, when clinically appropriate and permitted by state licensure rules. You must be physically present in an eligible state during the appointment. Some concerns require an in-person exam or local testing.
How do I communicate between visits?
We use the patient portal for routine clinical communication. Core Care includes secure Spruce messaging for brief updates and simple questions. Messaging may lead to a visit when a concern needs further evaluation.
What makes Pique Medical different?
You work directly with a nurse practitioner who takes time to listen, consider the bigger picture, and build an individualized plan. We focus on clear communication, thoughtful clinical decisions, and practical next steps.
